The interesting thing Eloisa James' The Dutchess of Mine, is that here we have the MP husband who is both a swine AND a hero. Perhaps at different times of the story--perhaps as just complicated layers of a complex personality.

The point is, that I like what James has done. Only the most interesting characters--and the ones most believable because they are true to life can capture the imagination, as I think was very well done in this book.
I enjoyed it.

Oh my. Sounds like another good book to read! You keep piquing my interest. I may need to throw away my TV since it is not getting watched much anymore. Thanks for another great review.

I enjoyed reading this synopsis; there's a lot going on in the plot and I want to know how this all turns out! Thanks for letting me know about this new novel.

Based on the review I'd have to side with Jemma, but I just may have to pick up a copy to find out the whole story!

Jemma sounds like a woman after my own heart. Why is she so forgiving and ready and willing to help him? It sounds like a story I must read.

As a political history bugg, I look forward to reading about a member of the House Of lords. Sound like a great love story, too.
