2 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup dairy sour cream
¾ cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9” by 5” loaf pan. Mix together the flour, salt, and soda. Add the egg, brown sugar, and sour cream. Mix well. Stir in the nuts. Pour into the loaf pan.
Bake approximately one hour until the loaf begins to leave the sides of the pan, or when a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
Turn out onto a wire rack and cool. Make two and share with the whole squad. Heroes love this stuff!

Just pulled this from the oven. Batter looked too thick, but it baked well and tastes even better.

This sounds pretty easy, and delicious. It would make an excellent breakfast to take along in the car Will try it this weekend.
