WHAT DENOTES A HERO?

A hero or heroine refers to fictional or historical characters that display courage and the will for self sacrifice. Heroism is performed for the greater good and to upkeep moral excellence.Stories of heroism may serve as moral examples. Hero worship can be a good thing or a bad thing. Many romance novels extol the virtues of the hero but some heroes are close to the edge of evil…until they meet the woman of their dreams…our heroine.Today’s romance novels combine action, adventure, intimacy (all levels), travel, family, intrigue and much more. Happy Ever After is a must, yet the hero’s journey to that point takes twists and turns, black moments and heartache. Through it all, the hero comes through thriving.My dad is one of my favorite heroes. Raising three little girls could drive any sane man nuts. With him as my hero, we traveled cross country, had adventures which included traipsing about national parks, learned new things, and witness him living his life loving our mom.Do you have a favorite hero (real or fictional)?     Do hope your Dad reads your comments regarding him as the hero in your own life. We never know how a few words can brighten up a day.
